Since returning from my travels I’ve had the difficult decision of where to move to next - but after 8 years of living in London, I always felt it was time for a change. With Brexit looming I was aware this might be my last opportunity to live in another country and so I thought I’d take a chance and move to a city I've always loved - Barcelona.
Earlier this year I spent six months travelling the length of India and then two months in the mountains of Nepal. Heading out via Belgium, Holland and Dubai I arrived in Trivandrum at the southern tip of India, bought a little scooter and gradually worked my way north up to Rishikesh.
Later this week I set off on a bit of an adventure. Heading out via Brugge, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Dubai I’ll get in to India on November 12th. The plan is to spend the first month exploring the southern state of Kerala then work my way up to Goa for Christmas and New year. From there, up to Mumbai, across to Delhi, Varanasi, Rishikesh and many more along the way on a 6 month trip.
For the last year and a half I’ve had the pleasure of working for One Green Bean, a creative communications agency specialising in PR, social media and events. Based in the amazing HKX building in Kings Cross, I was lucky enough to work on a wide range of projects for clients such as Virgin Holidays, Nokia, Nestle, Campo Viejo and Sky Ocean Rescue - to name just a few.
